Brandon Harris has owned and hunted with Mountain Curs most all of his life with his brother, Shawn. He likes this breed because of their determination, loyalty, ability to hunt and tree, and according to Brandon, they will ride with you any where you want to go!  Although Brandon has hunted with Mountain Curs, he never thought about a breeding and training program, until a couple of years ago when he received a Mountain Cur pup from his wife Rose. From that point on, they researched and acquired more dogs from some of the best in the business. Training was stepped up and soon the whole family was involved with it. Brandon, with his wife Rose and children - Jace, Grace, Grady, and baby Bristol will go out in the woods with the dogs as a family outing.  The couple likes for their children to experience & explore nature and see how the dogs work to tree a squirrel, coon, or anything that moves. Of course, when serious training begins, the children stay home. What the Harris family has found in the Mountain Cur breed, is a dog that matches their lifestyle quite nicely.
